Tian Shan Mountains

The western end of the Tian Shan range rises directly behind Tashkent. Within an hour you can be at 2,000 meters, surrounded by peaks, glacial rivers, and air that feels like it comes from another world.

In winter this is ski country. In summer it is for trekking, waterfalls, and complete escape from the heat of the cities. Elena, our mountain guide and ski instructor, knows every trail.
